It's holidays...yay! It's Chinese New Year tomorrow, guess most of the Chinese would have had their family reunion dinner today. Year of the Dragon, guess the Dragon year has always been auspicious for them.

I like it when it's festival time...it means holidays...hehe....well time for family and friends...so hope everyone will have a great time :) Yay!! Gonna be 12 am soon...so it'll be firecrackers war time....hahaha....I'd just love to see the fireworks...always my fav..no matter what festival it is...never fails to put a smile on my face...err maybe I feel like a little kid ...momentarily no worries etc...just awe...everything seems to be awesome..just for that moment...hehe :)

Well, Tamils all over the world will celebrate Ponggal tomorrow, more of a thanksgiving day...a harvest festival. It is more auspicious for farmers as it will be the time to reap what they have sowed...:) And these days, the practice is carried on..as a way to say thanks to the Sun and to welcome a new beginning and prosperity into the their lives. It's also called Makar Sankrati in other parts of India.Ponggal is a four day event..each day carrying a different celebration. Many other cultures aound the world celebrate harvesting festival, but it's known in different names and rituals done in different ways. At the end of the day, it's fun filled time with a lot of fun and laughter with family and friends and not forgetting a time to pray and be thankful for what we have. I was looking for some greeting and I came across this cute video clip, simple but nice...I really liked it but the audio is in tamil... :) Maybe it's cute because it's meant for kids..well I like it anyway :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?...

It's already December 30th...a day more in 2011...hmm...and then..bye bye 2011...hi 2012...gees...getting older...but any wiser?? hmm......well....time flies like nobody's biz....I wonder if it (time) can be caught :P...freezed maybe...using photos and relived using videos....but it can't be brought back for real...well not at the moment though.. scribblings for the day...

It's gonna be the end of the year...but why am I feeling so..anxious..restless......very restless.....unnessary worries....one at a time...one at a time Mantra of the day....one at a time....worry when a trouble troubles you...not create the trouble in the mind and let it trouble you robbing you of your sleep...creating unnecessary troubles eventually.........deng!! crap!!

I had watched Eat, Love and Pray...but I didn't watch the whole movie..just had a glimpse of a few scenes...but I was wondering it'll be great to take time off and go for a walk around the world...I think it'll be a great long tiring walk...but it'll be great....I feel. The problem is I'd have to leave my job and family.....I will be penniless for a while....... means eating grass and living on top of trees for a year ...if I don't have enough savings to sustain myself...hehe ....but I wonder if I can splurge my money even if I have some....just to go for a walk...but I think it'll be enlightening ...to do so....hmm... What a thought for the day...
